General FAQ
Who is the solution aimed at?
TimeAssured is aimed at anyone requiring access to a hassle free, cost effective
time and expense management solution. Our existing user base consists of
corporate employees, independent consultants, Freelancers and Self Employed
persons.
Can TimeAssured add value to our business?
Recruitment agencies and accountants can compliment their own
services with TimeAssured. The features offered in solution makes it a useful
value added service. Clients can keep track of approved timesheets, expenses,
mileage and customer invoices.
What if we want to register multiple employees?
Registration for TIMEFLOW packages is per-user. Companies
wishing to register more than one employee can take advantage of the group
membership scheme. Alternatively, TimeAssured Virtual Hosting can provide

Is TimeAssured a global system
TIMEFLOW works across geographical boundaries and simplifies
timesheet recording and approvals using a unique workflow process. It allows
employees located anywhere in the world to receive instant approvals. In
addition, expense and invoice modules support multiple currencies.
What timesheet and invoice formats are supported?
We have adopted standard formats for our timesheets and
invoices. Timesheet versions received by the client contain a declaration along
with information relating to the approver. The invoice format supports manual
printing in PDF format, with or without letterhead. Timesheets and invoices can
be modified with custom logos.
Operational FAQ
Why do I need to enter a client?
The Client settings represent those of the employer or if you
are a consultancy / Freelancer it can be the customer. In most cases the client
is the company responsible for approving your timesheets or paying the invoices.
The Client setting is used by the Assignment record below.
What is an assignment?
An Assignment reflects the employment agreement between to
the registered user and the Client. For instance if a Freelancer is working on a
6 month assignment with the client, they enter the necessary details in this
section. The setup allows users to create multiple clients and assignments. This
is useful for Consultants, freelancers etc who regularly switch between multiple
assignments.
Can I still use the manual approval process?
Yes, you can disable the workflow approval process in the
Assignment record.
Technical FAQ
What email clients are supported?
The workflow process for timesheets and invoices uses SMTP
email as the delivery system. Whilst most common email clients are supported
there may be instances were message formats differ. Our testing has been carried
out with Microsoft Exchange client and Lotus Notes. For best results you should
ensure that a stable email infrastructure is available and your email client
should support HTLM and Text content.
Which Web browsers are supported?
The service has been tested and works with Firefox, Internet Explorer, Netscape,
and Opera.
Why have I not received my signup validation link?
During user registration a validation link is sent to the
registered email address. There are a number of reasons why this may not be
received. One of the most common reasons is due to smtp filtering or email
blocking. Please ensure that emails from
subscribe@timeassured.co.uk are
not blocked by the messaging system. If problems persist with the validation
link please contact the subscription team so they can manually activate your
account.
Why have approval notifications not reached my approver?
A common reason is due to the messaging system blocking
emails. Please ensure that emails are allowed and if problems persist seek
advice from your local email administrator.
